The PSF UK attended a wonderful celebration of Indonesian culture in London. The Indonesia Weekend, held from 28–29 May next to Tower Bridge on the bank of the Thames, included fantastic Pencak Silat performances that wowed the public audience.
A team of pesilat from Pencak Silat Panglipur — including Kang Cecep Arif Rahman, Trisna Irawan, and Erik Rukmana — amazed the audience with their performance on the main stage. Their display of Silat's artistic and combat traditions drew a huge response from the crowd gathered along the Thames.
The PSF UK was proud to support this event, which showcased Pencak Silat as a centrepiece of Indonesian cultural heritage to the people of London.
