Our Story
The Pencak Silat Federation of the UK (PSF UK) is the official national body for Pencak Silat in the United Kingdom, recognised by the International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT)—the world governing body based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Established to promote, preserve, and develop authentic traditional Pencak Silat from the Malay-Indonesian Archipelago, PSF UK oversees the art's growth across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. It ensures Silat organizations and instructors in the UK meet proper qualifications and serves as a key information hub for the British public.
PSF UK has also played a pivotal role in the creation of the European Pencak Silat Federation, uniting all recognised European PERSILAT members. The federation's domicile and secretariat are currently based in London.
